How to use Super Micro IPMI Utility on Windows

Step(1)

First download IPMI View 2.13.0 from the following links and install

Link 2 : ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/utility/IPMIView/Windows/.

Step(2)

After Installation finished, go to File > New… > System

Step(3)

Then Add System Name as you like and IP address for DEV2 Server is 172.16.255.197

Add System Name and Description as you like. Then OK.

Step(4)

You will see your setup name in IPMI Domain. Double Click your setup name.

Login Screen will be appear and fill the credentials as (ADMIN / frontiir). After that Login.

Step(5)

You can see CONNECTED status and the following screen. After that Go to KVM Console tab.

When you click KVM Console you will see the following

Another Java Window will appear and then Go to Options > choose KeyBoard Mouse Hotplug.

Step(8)

You can now log into the system and use tty bash . If you want to Reboot the system, Go to Power Control > Power Reset .
